Trading Spaces
Wrapped up the residency and exhibit while moving into a new space and studio to share with my good friend and creative powerhouse Melodey Mathews of Melon Rose. Too excited to be moving into a new space so full of potential. This build out was completed in a true whirlwind of late nights and long hours, coffee and salt snacks. Lots of ladders and wood, trips to home depot, screws and paint. I was able to make four tables and almost all our shelving out of scrap wood from a wall in the shop that we took down. Mel’s dad hooked us up with all the lighting. And of course Maisie was a very helpful sidekick. Pictures in reverse from the last night in Old Town Hall cramming my car full of branches and an almost empty residency studio TO an evolving studio space. I’m already nostalgic.
