Visiting the House of Seven Gables

This week we had the exciting opportunity to interview a few folks from the House of Seven Gables team, director of preservation, Paul Wright, and site historian, David Moffat. Casey Keenan was on site to capture audio and the sounds of the landscape there.

Learned so much about the botany on site, as well as much behind the inspiration leading to Hawthorne’s novel. Need to buy a copy. Also going to start reading, Changes in the Land a book recommended by Moffat.

And just a little more info for you about Casey Keenan.

Keenen is the artist and audio engineer behind Gravity Wave Studios . He is an essential collaborator on this mapmaking project. He will be recording, editing, and composing for the map.
